Learning Groups

About the Learning Groups

At the heart of the Una initiative are its six Learning Groups. Together, the Learning Groups represent a global network of 73 leading experts in research and practice from over 30 different countries. Each Learning Group is working to share and disseminate existing knowledge and practice in relation to a particular area of research, policy and/or practice.

The main task for each Learning Group is to prepare two Working Papers that will be published through this website and that will seek to summarise in a clear and accessible way existing learning in relation to the particular area that the Group is focusing on. Taken together, the 12 Working Papers will represent a major resource for those wishing to develop, deliver and evaluate early childhood programmes that seek to promote respect for ethnic diversity.

Please use the menu to the right to find further details on the aims, membership and activities of each of the six Learning Groups. For an overview of the 12 Working Papers that are currently being prepared and when they will be made available, please visit the Reports section of this website.
